Article Processing Charges

The Journal of Advanced Management Studied (JAMS) operates on a sustainable publishing model that ensures the quality and accessibility of published research while maintaining the financial viability of the journal. To cover the costs associated with manuscript processing, peer review, copyediting, typesetting, and online hosting, JAMS levies Article Processing Charges (APCs) for accepted manuscripts.

APC Policy:

  1. Standard APC: The standard APC for research articles, reviews, case studies, and commentaries accepted for publication in JAMS is INR 5000/-. This fee covers the cost of editorial processing and production of the manuscript.
  2. Discounts and Waivers: JAMS offers discounts or waivers of APCs in certain cases, including:
    • Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries, as defined by the World Bank, may be eligible for a discounted APC. Please contact the editorial office for more information.
    • Authors facing financial hardship or inability to pay the standard APC may request a waiver. Waiver requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to approval by the editorial team.
    • Special arrangements may be made for authors affiliated with institutions that have institutional memberships or agreements with JAMS. Please inquire with your institution's library or research office for details.

Payment Process:

  1. Upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication, the corresponding author will receive an invoice for the APC from the editorial office.
  2. Payment of the APC must be completed within 1 week, typically prior to publication of the manuscript. Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer, credit card, or online payment platforms.
